Castors and Wheel

Heat-resistant wheels and castors are used in a variety of areas, from the food industry to medical engineering and other industrial applications. Requirements for these wheels and castors are equally diverse: in addition to withstanding high temperatures, they also need to meet hygiene requirements, resist corrosion and support heavy loads.

Blickle has eight different wheel series in its standard range to cover these applications. These include series with specialised, highly heat resistant solid rubber and a pressed steel or synthetic rim. Blickle’s POSI and ALSI wheel series use a tread made of heat-resistant silicone rubber with a synthetic or aluminium wheel centre.

1. Heat-resistant wheels and castors with solid rubber tyre.
1.1 VEHI series : Heat-resistant wheels Blickle TempLine Basic with solid rubber tyres and pressed steel rim up to 200 °C (65-180 kg)
• Heat-resistant pressed steel castors with heat resistant Blickle TempLine Basic wheel with solid rubber tyres :
- LI-VEHI, B-VEHI series : with top plate (65-180 kg)
- LIR-VEHI series : with bolt hole (65-90 kg)
1.2 VKHT series : Heat-resistant wheels Blickle TempLine Special with solid rubber tyres, with synthetic rim up to 260 °C (100 kg)
• Heat-resistant pressed steel castors with heat resistant Blickle TempLine Special, with top plate, wheel with solid rubber tyres
- LI-VKHT series : standard pressed steel castors (100 kg)
- LIX-VKHT series : stainless steel castors (100 kg)

2. Heat-resistant wheels and castors with highly heat resistance silicone rubber tyre.
2.1 POSI, ALSI series : Heat-resistant wheels Blickle TempLine comfort wheels with silicone rubber tread, with plastic or alumunium wheel centre up to 250 °C (80-120 kg)
• Heat-resistant pressed steel castors, wheels with silicone rubber Blickle TempLine comfort tread.
- LI-POSI, B-POSI, LI-ALSI, B-ALSI series : with top plate (65-180 kg)
- LIR-POSI, LIR-ALSI series : with bolt hole (100-120 kg)
• Heat-resistant stainless steel castors, wheels with silicone rubber Blickle TempLine comfort tread.
- LIX-POSI, BX-POSI series : with top plate (100-120 kg)
- LIXR-POSI series : with bolt hole (100-120 kg)

3. Heat-resistant wheels and castors with highly heat resistance nylon tyre.
3.1 POH series : Heat-resistant Blickle TempLine Performance light nylon wheels up to 170°C (215-720 kg)
• Heat-resistant pressed steel castors, with heat-resistant Blickle TempLine Performance light nylon wheel :
- LI-POH, B-POH, LIK-POH, BK-POH series : with top plate (150-350 kg)
- LIR-POH series : with bolt hole (150 kg)
• Heat-resistant stainless steel castors, with heat-resistant Blickle TempLine Performance light nylon wheel :
- LIX-POH, BX-POH, LIKX-POH, BKX-POH series : with top plate (150-350 kg)

4. Heat-resistant wheels and castors with highly heat resistance thermoplastic tyre.
4.1 POHI series : Heat-resistant, thermoplastic Blickle TempLine Performance wheels up to 250°C (150-350 kg)

• Heat-resistant pressed steel castors, with heat-resistant Blickle TempLine classic thermoset wheel :
- LI-PHN, B-PHN series : with top plate (100-350 kg)
- LIR-PHN series : with bolt hole (100-150 kg)
• Heat-resistant stainless steel castors, with heat-resistant Blickle TempLine classic thermoset wheel :
- LIX-PHN, BX-PHN series : with top plate (100-350 kg)
- LIXR-PHN series : with bolt hole (100-150 kg)

6. Heat-resistant wheels and castors with grey cat iron tyre
6.1 G series : Cast iron wheels up to 600 °C (250-1400 kg)
• LI-G, BI-G, LIK-G, BIK-G series : Heat-resistant pressed steel castors, with top plate, with cast iron wheels (100-350 kg)
• LIO-G, BO-G series : Heat-resistant welded steel heavy duty castors, with top plate, with cast iron wheels (750-1250 kg)

• Wheel series made of nylon, phenolic resin and cast iron round out the range of heat-resistant wheel series.
• Temperature resistance ranges from -200°C up to +600°C, depending on the wheel series.
• Heat-resistant wheels and castors are frequently used for oven racks, racking trolleys and autoclaves.
• Blickle’s POSI and ALSI wheel series use a tread made of heat-resistant silicone rubber with a synthetic or aluminium wheel centre.
• Heat-resistant wheels and castors withstand high temperatures, they also need to meet hygiene requirements, resist corrosion and support heavy loads.
